The goal of Disaster Relief is to provide some measure of normalcy for the victims of a disaster event. Disaster Relief focuses on five areas of ministry:
Chaplaincy | Child Care | Clean-Up & Recovery | Communications | Feeding
Phase 1 Training is required for all volunteers. At this training you will receive an introduction to the Disaster Relief Ministry of Georgia Baptists as well as hands-on training in one of the five ministry areas. Phase 1 trainings are held each January, February, and March in preparation for the storm season. (Training Fees if paid by registration deadline: Phase 1/Cross-Training=$40, Recertification = $20)
Introduction to Disaster Relief Training is for those persons who want to learn about Disaster Relief and see if it is a ministry they would like to be part of. (Registration is required but there are no training fees. It's FREE!)

See registration form for details.) *********************************************************************** Tugalo Baptist Association, in conjunction with three northeast Georgia area Associations, sponsors and houses two Disaster Relief trailers for Mud-Out and Cleanup and Recovery. These units are financed through church and individuals donations. Donations for the Disaster Relief can be mailed to PO Drawer 129, Eastanollee, GA 30538. Please Note:
Must be 18 years old to participate in Disaster Relief.
Background checks are now required on all GBC volunteers and will be processed by GBC.
All participants are responsible for their own breakfast and supper on Saturday. Lunch is included in registration costs.
